A quiet little town on the water, Bristol is a great place to experience a New England autumn. Home to the oldest continually running 4th of July parade in the country, Bristol is a New England small town at its best and has a walk-able downtown area just blocks from St. Mary's and Linden Place. The two hours we've left you between the ceremony and the reception certainly isn't enough time to see everything, but here are some ideas to get you started. You may also consider heading to Bristol in the morning and spending a full day in the area.
Take a walk down Hope Street or Thames Street and check out some of the many shops. (Use this map to help you out.)
Walk or Drive to one of the nearby Parks and Gardens
Stop and grab a bite to eat at one of these great places.
